In disability services, the accessibility of drumming has great benefits. A sense of connection to others, physical coordination, left/right brain stimulation and emotional liberation are some of the more immediate effects.

As no prior experience of drumming is necessary, each program can be tailored to the specific needs of the client. Through recreational music making, we affect ourselves and everyone around us. Playing a drum, we are attuned to the present moment. Playing with a group, there is a realisation that we are all connected.

"We had an awesome time, as per usual!! Thanks again for your great energy and fantastic program."
Angela Williams, Group Respite Coordinator, Hawkesbury/Penrith Respite Service

"On behalf of all our Life Skills clients, I would like to extend a Big Thank You to Alex for his outstanding drum workshop."
