Youth
In the Drum Circle we develop
the links between social skills
and supportive relationships with others.
Disability
In the disability field, the accessibility of drumming has great benefits. Promoting a sense of connectedness to others, physical co-ordination, left/right brain stimulation and personal liberation are some of the more immediate effects.
Aged Care
After three years practise and research in the use of drumming with aged care, Alex West in conjunction with RSL LifeCare has received the Australian Government Aged Care - Better Practise Award.
Health & Wellbeing
Drumming for health & wellbeing has been known to indigenous cultures for thousands of years. Research being done by the Remo Drum Company in California is proving that it has an impact on the immune system & reduces stress levels which are a component of every disease. Ancient wisdom meets modern science.
